No...he told Teruteru-chan he was gonna kill someone, then set everything up, and said even if he was caught he'd keep trying 'till he started up the mutual killing game. Um...he definitely kinda tried, but Teruteru-chan tried to take him out, and missed 'cause of Nagito-chan's luck and took someone else out instead...
