night six - killers
![]() There's no way to mark the passage of time after lights out, but it isn't long before the lightbulb in your bedroom flickers back to life, and your door unlocks. Make your way into the park; the door will unlock for you, and the path you need to take lights up with a dim red glow. When you reach the foot of the treehouse, a ladder has been dropped for you. Climb up and come inside. The interior of the treehouse has been made comfortable for you. There's an old map of the park on the wall, as well as the mounted and stuffed heads of cartoon animal costumes on the wall. The decor seems like something of a parody of an upscale hunting lodge, and you're welcome to sit by the fire and enjoy snacks from back home, or relax in one of the outdoor hammocks. Enjoy yourself as you decide who to kill. After all, you're in on a little secret - none of this is real, and it's all part of a fun little game from which everyone, winners and losers alike, will wake up. rulebook profiles All night votes will be due October 7 by 6 PM EST. |

[ He shrugs ]
Ibuki had suggested Sigma and Belgium, and I think these are both as good of guesses as any. I think at this point, our other pairs are taking the strategy of laying low.

Belgium and Sigma would be my bets too. They're pretty quiet, aren't they?
no subject
Well, they're likely to be investigated tonight, I would think, but that will only mean they'll turn up innocent and we'll be left with a situation like yesterday. However, this accusation isn't baseless. It can be argued, certainly, but it's logical and well thought out. She did not bring it to me lightly.
[ He sighs and sits back ]
Belgium or Sigma... I scarcely have anything to pick between the two of them, however. Neither particularly stands out.

Belgium seems like the kind of woman who tries to keep on everyone's good side.

Yes, and Sigma was from the same place as K, wasn't he? [ Not that it helps... ] My only other suggestion would be Kenny by personality alone, honestly.

But the buddy cops are pretty good at flying under the radar. Sigma or Belgium... I think Ibuki's right.

[ He hums softly, thinking back ]
The tone of the letter... It wasn't too different from how Sigma occasionally defended things, was it? In earnest, but still cautious and never stepping too far.
no subject
Yeah, it does sound him. He doesn't say much, but he's always making an expression like he's hiding something.
[That something is mostly that he's a loser]

[ what even, anise ]
But the camera plan was clever. And honestly, our clever people are few and far between at this point, I believe.

You can say that again. What a bunch of morons.

Our strategy of targeting the more useful ones was a good idea, thankfully. And... I am hoping I can get a bit more information out of Peko. She trusts me because of my resemblance to her young master, I imagine, and I've done everything I can to cement that.
[ wow ciel ]
I think she knows a bit more, but of course, I do not wish to press too hard and reveal myself.

Oh, Ciel~ ♥ How sneaky.

She'll likely kill me for it if my alliance is revealed, but I won't have any regrets. It gave us useful information. [ ice cold ] Besides that, any idiot that trusts so freely after a few days is bound to walk into a trap.
