night role - medical team

dreamland medical team

There's no way to mark the passage of time after lights out, but it isn't long before the lightbulb in your bedroom flickers back to life. In Sheba's room, the panel with the cartoon animal painted on your wall slides up to reveal a hidden screen behind it; it has the look of the like a slot machine. In Kenny's room, the door unlocks and a path leading to Sheba's quarters lights up with a dim glow. Any attempts to veer off this path or approach any other room will cause his bracelet to start beeping rapidly. For tonight, Sheba's door will unlock to Kenny and Kenny only.

You'll have to make an important decision tonight, and quickly; you only have an hour to decide before the power abruptly goes off again.

[Sheba is waiting for Kenny when he arrives.]

...hey. I think I owe you an explanation, huh?
chronic: (and maybe you think i'm sinking)

Yeah! What the buttfuck was that buttfuck bullshit?

[Such eloquence...]

It was obvious since yesterday that she was a VIP... But now the VIPs have a reason to think I'd be more useful to them if I was alive, so they'll probably leave me alone.

...I got to see her room, too. But I didn't have a chance to check the panel, so that was sort of a bust.

[ such a well balanced young man ]

...Oh. Fuck. That's... really smart. I think I might have pissed them off pretty bad today. Ibuki was furious with me.

...I voted you for MVP, so hopefully that'll help if they go after you. You better have voted for yourself, too. Antagonizing people is just going to make you a target... I don't want to see anything happen to you.
chronic: (i know i may sound disturbed)

[personal profile] chronic 2014-10-07 02:58 am (UTC)(link)
I... I know. I'm sorry. I meant what I said to Ibuki. That I don't care if I die. But if I fuck up and wind up taking you down with me it'll be one of the worst mistakes I've ever made.

I'm not afraid of that. This isn't the first time my life's been in danger, and even if I make it back home, it won't be the last.

Just take care of yourself, okay? You're way too young to just let yourself die.

...in the meantime, let's think about how we can keep others from dying. Clash, Maya, and Mabel are probably safe, right? Since none of them voted for Ibuki.

So that leaves us with either making absolutely sure Missile stays alive, or protecting someone who was really adamant about getting Ibuki lynched. What do you think?

((Sorry for the edit! I've got an all-day shift today, so I wanted to at least get some "who should we vote for" discussion going. I'll check in to vote on my break if I'm able to take it before voting closes! Should we just default to protecting Missile if we don't come up with another name before we have to have our votes in?))

Hm.

[ No acknowledgment to the first part... ]

...Aside from me? I guess that leaves... Simon, Peko, Nanami, and Anise. I think.

I think it's... unlikely they'll go for Peko... and unlikely they'll go for Nanami. Maybe... Anise...?

[ ooc; no problem! i'll pick one! ]

...they've already proven they're not above killing children. And she does fit the pattern for the people they've been targeting. Good idea.
