![]() There's no way to mark the passage of time after lights out, but it isn't long before the lightbulb in your bedroom flickers back to life. In Sheba's room, the panel with the cartoon animal painted on your wall slides up to reveal a hidden screen behind it; it has the look of the like a slot machine. In Kenny's room, the door unlocks and a path leading to Sheba's quarters lights up with a dim glow. Any attempts to veer off this path or approach any other room will cause his bracelet to start beeping rapidly. For tonight, Sheba's door will unlock to Kenny and Kenny only. You'll have to make an important decision tonight, and quickly; you only have an hour to decide before the power abruptly goes off again. rulebook profiles |

Missile is the detective. The results from our vote earlier should have confirmed it, but I have confirmation of it from Gundam, too. But Missile can't read, so he wouldn't have been able to respond to the note you left with Aya.

In any case, we've got to figure out how we assume they'll call our behavior. Of course, the note will make the VIPs think we're protecting Missile. But we can just let them think that, and protect someone else again... Like I proposed before. There's always the chance they'll try for it anyway, but I doubt it.

The VIPs will know that they didn't send the note, but they also won't know if anyone responded to it or not. They might not think we're protecting Missile... if they believe we really sent it, and we've claimed not to protect anyone who won't verify themselves, then they'll know Missile can't respond to it.
They might think Gundam would help him communicate with us, though.
...
[There is a moment where she is quiet, as if she's thinking something over.]
...you should know that I approached Gundam myself, not the other way around. I didn't tell him who you are, but if I end up dead tomorrow and you end up surviving, please make sure Missile investigates him.

Did Missile... clear him? Are you sure we can trust him? It would be a hell of a thing if the only one really able to communicate with it was manipulating it. I really hope it was a good choice...
As for verification... Missile doesn't have to talk to verify himself. His actions did that tonight. Which is why I'm wondering how we should act.

...besides, if he were manipulating it, he wouldn't have let Missile lead us into executing Edea, right?
As for Missile... they probably will think that we're protecting him. But I don't like the idea of taking a chance on someone else, and letting the detective we know we can trust get killed.

There's a really good chance Missile is the MVP, anyway.

I voted Gundam for MVP, though, since he's got a good chance of helping Missile communicate with us. Who did you vote for? And, who do you think might have made themselves a target during today's discussion?

[Well, that sure threw her for a loop.] Um... thank you.

If it makes a difference, I thought why not. Um. Anyway.

[The moment passes, though, and her expression becomes a little more somber.]
...we have to figure out who to protect tonight, though... The VIPs are probably feeling a little worried now that we all know we can trust Missile.
