In Kaoru's room, the door unlocks and a path leading to K's quarters lights up with a dim glow. Any attempts to veer off this path or approach any other room will cause his bracelet to start beeping rapidly. For tonight, K's door will unlock to Kaoru and Kaoru only. Yes. As much I dislike his foolishness, I think it's safe to say without much contention that he is the detective. The fact that he is without buddy makes him claim more credible -- his vote was the only one and nobody else voted for Legion.

Right, no chances it's a pair of VIP trying to cover their tracks. So we'll protect him tonight?

Yes. While I feel it would be too obvious a move for the VIPs to convert him, to the point that they will likely not take the risk of doing it, I will feel much safer knowing he could not be converted.
