special guests night three 41 players remaining. There's no way to mark the passage of time after lights out, but it isn't long before the lightbulb in your bedroom flickers back to life, and your door unlocks. Make your way into the park; the door will unlock for you, and the path you need to take lights up with a dim red glow. When you reach the foot of the treehouse, a ladder has been dropped for you. Climb up and come inside. The interior of the treehouse has been made comfortable for you. There's an old map of the park on the wall, as well as the mounted and stuffed heads of cartoon animal costumes on the wall. The decor seems like something of a parody of an upscale hunting lodge, and you're welcome to sit by the fire and enjoy snacks from back home, or relax in one of the outdoor hammocks. Enjoy yourself as you decide who to kill. After all, you're in on a little secret - none of this is real, and it's all part of a fun little game from which everyone, winners and losers alike, will wake up. current character statuses rulebook profiles All night votes will be due September 28 by 6 PM EST.

[ Ciel frowns at her seriously, like he's mad, but it's more like the default state of his face... ]

It isn't that simple, Mabel. Even if they'll just wake up, it works in the same way... Have you killed before?

Well...I've killed zombies before. But that doesn't matter. I'll do what I have to, and this is something that I just have to do! It'd be the same if Dipper and I were switched...

[ Ciel's expression becomes troubled, but suddenly very difficult to read. It looks like he wants to say something in response, but instead he just fidgets nervously, then looks down as he pulls down his hat as well. ]

...You're certain about this. It's not something to be taken lightly.

[ineptus]

[And Mabel gives him as serious a look as she can muster, nodding her head once.]

I am! I'm very certain about this.

[cheats]

[ He stares at her for a few moments more, but then averts his eyes with an expression that's a bit easier to read. He looks almost... sad. But it's also hidden behind a lot of grumpiness. ]

...Very well. I— I will go with you, if you need someone else to be there.

Ibuki'll go along, too, if Mahiru-chan's gonna be there. Also, she promised to do Mabel-chan's share of things, so she should at least be there for support.

[ ........but mostly to murder Mahiru if they must. ]

[Trying to be strong perhaps? Who knows. She's certainly good at hiding it though!]

I've been through a lot of scary things before, so I don't think you need to worry about me much!

Well, we're a team! None of us has to do this alone! It can be a little hard, but...as long as we keep in mind we're waking them up, even if it feels real...

[ It doesn't make it all the way easier, but knowing she was killing Fuyuhiko-chan last night to save him had made it possible... ]

It helps to have people around! And anyway, if Mahiru-chan gets dragged along, she's Ibuki's responsibility.

[...yeah that smile she's making says that maybe this is harder for her than she's letting on. It's a little sad to be bright, happy and hard as steel like she's trying to be.]

But we can't all go! That'd be silly! Especially for someone like Dipper. And besides, you guys will get his sweat all over you.

[ Ciel will reach out to place a hand on her shoulder, fully intending to be comforting with the gesture, or at least reassuring. ]

I think it's something we wouldn't mind. You're one of us, so we'll look out for you, Mabel.

[ Ibuki will just go to hug Mabel, straight up. She is a touchy-feely person, okay. ]

Either way, Ibuki will go! Mabel-chan is her disciple, after all! And...she woke Fuyuhiko-chan up, you know? She knows how it is. And it helped her a lot to have Ciel-chan there.

[ Really, it wasn't easy and she still can fell the guitar in her hands, but... ]

Waking people up is hard, so none of us is ever going to have to do it alone if Ibuki has any say! Okay?!

[nO STOP GUYS YOU'RE GOING TO MAKE HER CRY. She doesn't want Dipper to go. Even if this is better she wants play the game with him!

She just nods, hugging Ibuki back.]

Dipper-chan will definitely, definitely understand when he wakes up. Ibuki knows Mabel-chan only wants to do this to protect him...if we could convert him, it'd be better, but they won't let us do that again, so...

[ Also, Mahiru... ]

...He won't understand until he wakes up, but when he does, he'll definitely be proud of Mabel-chan, okay?

[ ...Oh. Ciel makes a flustered little noise when Ibuki says he was helpful, then promptly withdraws his hand to hide behind his teacup like a mature thirteen year old does. ]

...Goodness, you're welcome. It wasn't that big of a deal.

[ It was, he's just being a big tsun loser. ]

[No Ciel, come back. Mabel just kind of reaches out around Ibuki, trying to grab a hold of the boy. Nope. Not going anywhere. No.

But she nods. He'd be really proud of her, she knows it.]

[ IBUKI WILL HELP TO HOLD HIM. Group hug!! ]

[ GRR!! No hugs!! He hates hugs!!! He makes a sour lemons face as he's pulled back at first because he is just the Tiny Earl of Disagreeable. But... ]

[ Ultimately, there's something distantly familiar about this, in a way he usually prefers not to remember, honestly. But he'll reach out to hold Mabel's hand in particular, wrapping his hand around hers and. Reluctantly returning the group hug. It's not very enthusiastic, and his face is scarlet, but it's still something, and he's not yelling about it... ]

[She squeezes his hand, pleased he decided to stay. ALL THE HUGS. SHE WANTS THEM. Even if they are from a tiny disagreeable earl.]
