special guests - night three
![]() There's no way to mark the passage of time after lights out, but it isn't long before the lightbulb in your bedroom flickers back to life, and your door unlocks. Make your way into the park; the door will unlock for you, and the path you need to take lights up with a dim red glow. When you reach the foot of the treehouse, a ladder has been dropped for you. Climb up and come inside. The interior of the treehouse has been made comfortable for you. There's an old map of the park on the wall, as well as the mounted and stuffed heads of cartoon animal costumes on the wall. The decor seems like something of a parody of an upscale hunting lodge, and you're welcome to sit by the fire and enjoy snacks from back home, or relax in one of the outdoor hammocks. Enjoy yourself as you decide who to kill. After all, you're in on a little secret - none of this is real, and it's all part of a fun little game from which everyone, winners and losers alike, will wake up. rulebook profiles All night votes will be due September 28 by 6 PM EST. |

[ Which is ice cold, but he adds more softly, ] It would look strange. We aren't particularly close in public at all. I would have no reason to believe in your character over the word of the Detective. I've already decided to play the role of being upset about Mahiru.
[ He pauses, then sighs ]
She was kind to me. That role seems appropriate.

I'm talking more if K and Aya are held up on whether or not I was marked as innocent or guilty by Missile if we detonate him. The best case scenario is that they don't even mention me.
[A slight pause.]
Mahiru... I'm glad she can leave a little bit earlier. She's really frightened by all this.
no subject
I see. In that case... It really just depends. I think I'll stick to not defending you, in any case. It fits what people expect of me more, probably.
[ Ciel shakes his head with a sigh ]
I hope Mahiru wakes up peacefully. She deserves that much.

[ For sure! ]
no subject
Good. Then they'll be peaceful together while they wait for the rest.

[ Unlike his, which is pretty dang selfish, but he's not going to talk about his... ]

[ who...ever that is, ibuki tried to think about it earlier but it wouldn't stick ]
no subject
...She definitely will, especially if you're going with the plan suggested right now. I'm sure of it.

She'll break her heart herself! She's the one pursuing me when I'm already engaged!

It would be cute if the two of you had a precocious crush, though! Remember what I said about your soft side.
no subject
[ That wasn't even strategic, he's just a moron ]
no subject
[dork]
But you can have a precocious crush on Oz, too! He's cute.
[He's like the polar opposite of Ciel in several ways.]
no subject
Wh— No! No, why can't it be that I don't have a crush on anyone? And besides that, he's a boy!

By which I mean Ciel sort of grumbles to himself, but then picks up his tea and takes a sip as he seems to calm down a little. ]
Yes, well. We are a team.
