[It's in the dead of the night when K's door abruptly unlocks. His bracelet begins to beep. Something seems to be calling him, ordering him to leave his room. For every moment he delays, it beeps with more and more urgency, especially if he tries to bring anything. And besides, he feels groggy, not inclined to protest much. Shortly after, Kaoru's door also unlocks, and he's led to the park behind him.

As he steps outside, lights illuminate the path. The lights lead into the park. As soon as either one steps through the door into the park, the door slams shut. It won't open for again, and pounding on the door or calling for help will not yield any results. It's only once inside that the grogginess wears off.

You can run or try to hide, but there's not much use to it. Your bracelet is still beeping, the only obvious sound in the darkness. And though you're not restrained, you'll find there's no way you can strike a blow against the killers; the bracelet will tighten and you'll feel the grogginess return if you try to fight back.]

[No, Kaoru, you're not going anywhere. Again, Royce pushes him down.]

[Ignores Royce and reaches over to touch Kaoru's arm in what is theoretically a more soothing gesture.]

It'll be okay, I promise. Just close your eyes.

[Jerks away from him, pressing up against the far side of the boat]

Don't touch me!

[Royce will sit back, though he's ready to push Kaoru down again if need be.]

[He doesn't say anything. He only waits for Tamaki to make his move.]

[Tamaki... doesn't make a move. He's kinda hurt, tbh.]

Kaoru, please...

—Don't you dare plead with me when you're about to kill me!

[idly fiddling with his gun]

[casually leaning over to push kaoru back STAY STILL WHILE WE TRY TO KILL YOU]

[Even though Royce has it under control, Tamaki flinches. He fumbles the gun, which drops onto the seat and goes off on its own. Whoops.]

[Kaoru lets out a startled gasping noise, pressing a hand to the bloodstain quickly forming on the front of his uniform. How could you Tamaki.]

[Royce almost jumps because GOOD GOD WHAT IF THE THING HAD HIT HIM AND...oh, well, that's a thing.]

[Good job, Tamaki, you messed up. I mean, you murdered him, but you messed up.]

[This a high-pitched and somewhat less-than-dignified shriek.]

Kaoru!!

[He's fading pretty quickly, but look! You get the gift of one last look of utter betrayal before he's gone completely. Congratulations.]

[Well, that just happened.]

He's dead...? [PLEASE TELL HIM HE'S DEAD]

[Nudges the body with his foot.]

[He leans over to check himself. Yes, that boy looks very much...dead.]

It's done. [A pause. God, he needs a cigarette.] Let's go. Take the gun with you.

[First things first, which means reaching down to close Kaoru's eyes. After that, Tamaki shakily picks up the gun.]

Did you see the look on his face? He was so sad!

[A flat look.] ...He's being woken up. Why does it concern you if he's sad or not?

Because he's my friend! Even if I'm doing what's best for him, that doesn't make it okay to hurt his feelings!
