Night five - kill log
Who: Killers, K, and Kaoru
What: discovering whether robots and gingers have no souls
When: The fifth night
Where: The park...
[It's in the dead of the night when K's door abruptly unlocks. His bracelet begins to beep. Something seems to be calling him, ordering him to leave his room. For every moment he delays, it beeps with more and more urgency, especially if he tries to bring anything. And besides, he feels groggy, not inclined to protest much. Shortly after, Kaoru's door also unlocks, and he's led to the park behind him.
As he steps outside, lights illuminate the path. The lights lead into the park. As soon as either one steps through the door into the park, the door slams shut. It won't open for again, and pounding on the door or calling for help will not yield any results. It's only once inside that the grogginess wears off.
You can run or try to hide, but there's not much use to it. Your bracelet is still beeping, the only obvious sound in the darkness. And though you're not restrained, you'll find there's no way you can strike a blow against the killers; the bracelet will tighten and you'll feel the grogginess return if you try to fight back.]

Oh, coming along willingly? That makes things easier. [ frail mafia trio won't have to drag him there ]
I work with metal. [ ????? ] I know how to use it, how to control it. Once you know where all of the rivets are, things are easier. [ per se ]

Don't worry, I've handled tougher things than you. ♥ If I had Tokunaga, this would be over in a second.
[Now follow the tiny children and skinny bookworm to certain doom, K]

[Seriously, three scrawny short people pushing one giant metal man...it'd be kinda sad to watch.]
Besides if I don't go with you, I assume the bracelet will be responsible for my death somehow anyway. It is still beeping after all.

[ Even Malik had been something a bit different in truth, but clearly otherwise, they hadn't bothered to blow people up. But yes, Ciel personally won't stick with the small talk, so presumably they will get to their destination before too long. ]

If I had my magic I could crack open that damnable suit myself... [ one of the scenarios in which metal manipulation would come in handy and shE DOESN'T HAVE ACCESS TO IT
But after that remark she'll be keeping quiet until they arrive, hobbling after Ciel. ]

[Still, is that a flash of guilt in her expression as they reach the ride? Who knows.]
no subject
[Nevertheless they arrive and K stares at the carousel.]
So...what now? I don't suppose you believe riding this thing will kill me.
no subject
Heavens no. You're the most complicated one to off at all, so we assumed repeated impacts would likely work well enough. I suggested drowning, but that seemed like it would take too long.
[ So there's that. Sort of. Ciel looks to the control box, then to Patchouli or Anise, hoping that they'll take over from here, since he's a bit more lost when it comes to the method. He rode the teacups for the first time a few days ago, so the rides are confusing to him. ]

[ Patchouli hobbles over to the control panel, fiddling with the knobs and levels for a moment before the ride starts to boot up, blaring its obnoxious music and the cars beginning to rev up. Looking displeased, she flips a switch that shuts the music off. ]
My apologies K, we would have preferred to have you unconscious. [ lowering her voice ] But no, that's not enough of a pinch. What a troublesome spell.

So it's going to hurt a little. But not for long.

For both our sakes, I hope you aren't wrong. Not about the ride...but about "waking up."
[If they keep using that phrase, he speculates this could be some sort of artificial reality. The question is if they are correct...and where he will even be waking up.]
no subject
[ He says it confidently, then walks to the booth with Patchouli, since he'll... Well, he won't exactly help, but he'd rather stand in there where it's not so noisy. ]

[ which is all she says before turning the knobs to boot the ride up again. This time, far beyond its safety capacity. Of course, for a ride like this, it results in the entire frame shaking, starting to move off course as its gears strain under massive speed. ]
Hmm...we may want to step back.

Have a good trip, K~ Say hi to everyone!
[And off the car goes. This is the most awkward murder ever]
